REINVENTING THE WHEEL: A FUTILE EXERCISE!

Reinventing wheel is a futile exercise that is why people do not do it directly. All over the world human beings are indirectly occupied with similar exercises. But why? Because we do not look at our global earth as one unit. If a part of our world has a solution to a particular problem another part that look at their geographical earth as their world would still struggle to 'invent the wheel' to solve the problem. Big organizations like world bodies are not helpful either. They indulge in futile exercise of waiting for the new wheel to be reinvented. In the 80s we discovered herbal medicines that cure sickle cell anemia and in the 90s we discovered distilled vaccine that when drops are administered in the month of new born babies, it protects them from sickle cell anemia syndrome. The first baby boy we vaccinated is now an adult his sister that followed him is now also an adult. Sadly, 6 infants they followed unvaccinated succumbed to sickle cell anemia syndrome. We ha...

THE CORONA VIRUS, THE AFRICAN SOLUTION!

Any disease is a challenge if there is no cure for it. Diseases that once were a menace to the world such as Small Pox, Yaws and plagues are not heard of today. Solutions were found to neutralize them. But that doesn’t mean that we no longer have diseases menacing the world. One such a menace is the African Swine Fever that recently wiped out a large population of pigs in China. And now the Corona virus that has put the whole world on edge. But there is something interesting about how the word operates. The pig population in china was not nearly wiped out because there was no medicine to cure the disease. This unfortunate incident happened because there is no oneness in the world today. People often refer the world today as ‘the global village’ but that may not in some respect be true. Medicine Africana Consortium of Uganda has had for many years a herbal viral medicine that has successfully treated many pigs effected by the African Swine fever. The medicine does not only treat the dis...

DON'T LAUGH WHEN I SAY I HAVE THE VACCINE FOR THE CORONA VIRUS! JUST GIVE ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO TEST IT!

Pluto, the biggest planet in our solar system, was discovered by the use of a simple telescope. It was discovered by applying the principals of mathematics. The beauty of mathematics is that it allows us to predict results very precisely. You will always know that two plus two will be four. So when I say I have discovered the vaccine for the Corona virus even before being given the opportunity to test it on the virus, I know it’s a big claim but my certainty come about because I am using the principals of mathematics. In my last posting, I mentioned that our herbal combination has defeated all the viruses it has come in to contact with in plants, animals and humans. We discovered that the medicine when we use to treat pigs against the Swine Fever virus, it vaccinates them against the disease for three months. The same thing happens to chicken against the Coccidiosis virus. Mathematically, the probability of the Corona virus being the exception is not there and the possibility of it not...

SOMETHING GOOD WILL ALWAYS COME OUT OF AFRICA!

I read in the papers the list of ‘giants’ from America, Europe and Asia who have lined themselves up in a race to see who will be the first to come up with the cure and or vaccine for the much dreaded Corona virus. I noticed that Africa is glaringly absent from the list. But why? Do they think we can’t possibly find a cure for any disease? I couldn’t help but think of an imaginary scene from a typical African folktale. Let’s say America was Mr. Buffalo, Europe could be Mr. White Bear and Asia is Mr. Tiger. They lived happily in their prosperous kingdom. But an epidemic of a strange new disease came upon the land. As they competed to see who will be the first to come up with the cure, a small dejected animal that eventually came to their rescue was the little Mr. Hare from Africa. There is one group called Medicine Africana Consortium based in a small town called Lira in a country called Uganda. They are already ahead of the giants because while the world looks for and are yet to test t...

WHEN WE SEEK TREATMENT FROM ABROAD, AREN'T WE ACTING LIKE THE FORGETFUL FARMER LOOKING FOR THE AXE RESTING COMFORTABLY ON HIS SHOULDER?

There is this sad but almost comical situation that happens in the villages all the time. Am sure you have witnessed it too. It’s time to go the garden. A farmer picks his axe, promptly balances it on his shoulders. Because this simple action has been repeated so many times before, the action is now thoughtless. He forgets about the axe almost immediately. He goes on to pick the panga , some other tools and feels he is almost ready to go to the garden. He ‘remembers’ he hasn’t picked just one more tool. The axe. He might consume a good 15 or 20 minutes looking for the axe. Then finally the wife might ask him. ‘What are you looking for?’ ‘The axe. Have you seen it somewhere?’ The wife might laugh and ask. ‘What’s that on your shoulder? This is the problem that afflicts us and our African leaders. Africa suffers from ‘seeking solutions from afar syndrome’. When our African presidents are hit by some serious malady, the president’s men will automatically swing into action. ‘Take mze outsi...

WHO SAID AFRICANS CAN'T GIVE DONOR AID TO THE WORLD?

When Africa is in distress, the world promptly responds positively and assistance pour in. we are very grateful for this global spirit. In the same spirit, when calamity strikes other parts of the world, we in Africa feel the pain and the need to reciprocate by contributing physically what we can. But the unfortunate thing is that our good and well meaning gestures are not always welcomed or taken seriously. This is a spirit which is not in line with the new spirit of globalization and kinship. What happens in any part of the world, no matter how faraway may affect us all in one way or the other. We in Medicine Africana Consortium, have a firsthand experience. Recently the African Swine Fever epidemic broke out in China and wiped out thousands and thousands of pigs. We of the Medicine Africana Consortium responded by informing the Chinese that we have an herbal anti swine fever virus effective treatment and vaccine. There was not enthusiastic response and the world needlessly los...

When we tell the truth about ourselves and our past we are set free!

There is a conflict between doctors and herbalists in Uganda and the whole of east Africa. But when you look at it properly, it is a pointless preoccupation. Are both not equally engaged in the fight against diseases and human suffering? When an herbalist is afflicted by a disease best treated by a doctor, he runs to the doctor. Equally when a doctor is afflicted by a disease he feels can best be treated by an herbalist, he runs to the herbalist. The source of this pointless conflict is routed in our past. The colonialists, in order to rule over us, made it a point to undermine our culture. Our knowledge of medicine was one of the cultural arrears most affected by this ill will. In Teso region of Uganda, school children were taught in school a song that talks of one ‘Aducho’ (a female herbalist) being ‘Ibangana’ (stupid). When we gained independence, we did almost nothing to reverse this. Our doctors are not taught about African medicine in our medical schools. When you do not know so...
